About The Hardy Life

Robert and I have both always loved writing, but would never have imagined that this blog would have become the outlet it has.  I started it on a whim, shortly after we were married.  I posted very irregularly until we were pregnant with our first child.  At our 18 week ultrasound, we found out that she would be born with a birth defect called congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH).  This blog became a way for us to process this news and for us to share with friends and family about her condition and ways to pray for her.  The first weeks of her life were extremely fragile and we were amazed at the ways that God spread the news of this blog to people all over the world who rallied behind Clara and us in prayer.  Now, we update about normal family activities, the remaining health concerns for Clara, and other thoughts and musings on our life... the Hardy life.
